VOLUNTEER FAQs

Our sale is 100% volunteer driven and we'd love to have your help!

We know volunteering can seem daunting & overwhelming if you have never volunteered with us before. Luckily, there are many types of jobs at TNT for our volunteers to do for a variety of interest levels.

We put together some of our most asked questions for you to review. If you have any questions that you don't see listed here, please email us at rdstnt@riverchasedayschool.com

What is a committee volunteer vs.
general volunteer?

Committee volunteers commit to working at least 3 shifts at the sale. They will focus in a particular area like set up/breakdown, receiving finance, marketing, hospitality, or nursery. This is a chance to not only be able to shop early, but learn about a specific part of our sale!

If you are interested in working on a committee, please complete this form.

What do I wear?

You will be moving a lot! We suggestion athletic wear like leggings, shorts, t-shirt and sneakers for comfort! We will provide an apron for you to wear.

Do I get to shop early?

Yes! Our volunteers get to shop first. It is the best way to get a chance to shop the sale earliest for the largest selection of merchandise.

Do I need to sign up for a drop off slot if I am volunteering and a consignor?

No, you do not need to sign up for a drop off shift. You are able to just bring your items to the volunteer consignor area and drop it off at any time during receiving. If you do not select Donate All, you will need to pick up your rejected items by Monday evening.

Where do I go when I arrive & what do I do?

You will enter through the Welcome Center doors at the Church. You will see a worker check in desk where you will sign in, & get your apron and name tag.

After signing in, you will meet your chair for your pre-shift huddle. We will discuss any important information, assign roles for the shift and just make sure everyone is prepapred.
